A typical day’s food consists of McDonald’s for breakfast, takeaway chips for lunch and a Chinese meal for dinner.

Distraught Mandy and her daughter Zoe spoke to the daytime chat show host about her problems, describing how she needs help getting out of the house.

Zoe said: ‘It’s laziness. She eats but she doesn’t exercise. I think she wants to change. We talk to her all the time about it.’

Mandy told how she needed real, professional help while Zoe admitted she is ‘scared she’s going to die.’

She said: ‘The first and most important thing is that you can make a change. If you feel you’re there, then there’s so much you can do to make those changes.
