Men willing to be ‘intimately examined’ by trainee nurses and doctors can earn an eye-watering £33 an hour – but should prepare to be poked and prodded.
Volunteers are being sought by an NHS hospital trust as part of training in how to carry out examinations of the foreskin, penis, testicles and rectum.
Bosses at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, Wiltshire, said they expected only ‘body confident’ men to apply for the ‘intimate examination role play’.

The advert said: ‘We need male volunteers to take part in an innovative teaching programme.
‘Intimate physical examination skills are essential for our medical graduates and we’re looking for local men to take part in role play teaching in Swindon.
‘Teaching is in a professional and safe environment and full training is provided. Volunteers are paid £33 per hour, plus travel expenses.’

The advert amused social media users were with some suggesting it was why the NHS was in financial troubles.
However, others suggest it was the least they would expect for an examination of this nature.
One person called ‘Guv’ wrote: ‘£33 per hour? we wonder why the NHS is in trouble.’
But another user, known as ‘37174’, replied: ‘You want a hand up your bum for less ? Go right ahead.’
