A man has revealed how his lips exploded with blood and pus after he became addicted to filler injections.
Henry, 20, from Wells-Next-To-Sea, Norfolk, said he loved the way he looked after he pumped up his pout but he ‘pushed it too far’ with painful consequences.
His lip exploded and then continued to seep with pus for weeks afterwards as it had become so infected.

Recalling one time the lip burst in graphic detail, he said: ‘This one time I was buying a new phone and I could feel my lip starting to swell and then it started leaking, blood, pus, everything coming out of my lips and dripping onto a phone.
‘The sales assistant stood there looking stunned. I need it fixed as I never know when it is going to explode.’

Henry appears on the new series of E4 show Body Fixers in the hope their experts can help.
He told them how he became ‘addicted’ to having filler because he loved the way it made him look.

‘It looked amazing and people kept coming up to me telling me I looked gorgeous,’ he said.
‘Fillers were my life, everyone knew me as Henry who got his lips done.
‘So I was going every six weeks and kept pushing it… and then it all went wrong.’
He continued: ‘I loved it, but then – bang – my lips actually exploded, it was green pus, awful.
‘It has ruined my life and now it looks really ugly.’
Not only can the lip leak pus at any given moment, he has been left with an unsightly wound on his upper lip which makes him feel self-conscious.

Celebrity aesthetic doctor Dr Esho agreed to treat Henry and said there wasn’t a moment to lose as his situation was so dire.
He said Henry would need to go under the knife to have all the filler removed in order to stop the infection and prevent it coming back.
He said: ‘Henry’s case is probably one of the worst cases of infected lip filler I’ve had to treat on TV.
‘When he was brought into the studio I immediately said “we need to take you to theatre”.
‘I could tell by his face he didn’t realise how close he was to actually losing his lip.
Henry’s lips are now back to normal thanks to Dr Esho’s treatment on the first episode of new E4 show Body Fixers
‘After surgery he thankfully made a full recovery, but I see more and more cases like this every day and I hope the episode helps educate others about the dangers when this procedure isn’t done properly.’
Following the operation, Henry said he was amazed at how Dr Esho had been able to restore his lips so they looked healthy again.
He told me: ‘I am speechless, I look so fierce, I love it. I feel like you have magic hands, you are amazing at what you do.’
