Relating From Inferiority or Superiority?

In this video, Eckhart Tolle explains that when we relate to others from the level of form, our ego goes into comparison mode by evaluating our physical appearance, wealth, education, knowledge, and power, in relation to the other person. We either feel superior or inferior, depending on the ego’s assessment, and this informs how we relate to the other person. If we can sense our essential being, the deeper dimension within, we can relate to people from the deeper level of being– from a place of equanimity and love.
