We reveal how to get the enviable physiques of the stars.

This week: Michelle Dockery’s waist.

A corset may have pulled her waist to minute proportions in Downton
Abbey, but Michelle Dockery displays an enviably trim midriff in real
life, too.

The actress, 32, eats a diet with tiny amounts of lean
protein such as fish to stay slim and says she works out regularly at a
local gym to maintain her physique.

‘I go to this place in East London and it does dance classes, Pilates, yoga,’ she says. ‘I need someone telling me what to do.’

What
to try:
Celebrity trainer Jon Denoris, whose clients have included
Boris Johnson and singer Rachel Stevens, suggests an exercise called
‘Stir The Pot’ as a good way to tone your middle. You will need an
exercise or Swiss ball.

Start by lying on your front, and then prop
your forearms on to the ball, with your legs outstretched behind you,
balancing on the balls of  your feet.

Keep your abdominal muscles tight and your body in a straight line from head to feet.

Make
small circles on the ball with your forearms – as your arms move they
put pressure on the core and waist area to stay balanced. Continue for
20 seconds. Rest and repeat.
