If you’re already over-the-moon about actress Hayden Panettiere’s engagement to Ukranian boxer Wladimir Klitschkov, then the 24-year-old Nashville star’s reason for saying “yes” will get you even more pumped to hear wedding bells. 

“It means a lot when you experience life with someone,” Hayden said in a recent interview with Brides. “Then you experience life without him and decide that you don’t want to live without him.” The two briefly split in 2012 before getting back together in January 2013. By March, the couple was engaged.

“You date, you try to be with different people, you make mistakes, and you get to know yourself in the process,” Hayden continued. “And in the end, you want to be with someone who makes you the best version of yourself.”
