The Best Playlist for Your Most Intense Workouts

Every week, Your New Favorite Playlist introduces you to workout-worthy tunes from a different fitness brand. This week, Willspace shares one of its go-to playlists.

Willspace doesn’t offer group fitness classes—only hour-long personal training sessions. “We find that our clients really get the best results when we work one-on-one with them,” says Jenn Lopez, a personal trainer at the studio. “For us, it’s about personalization and precision, making sure every move is done correctly.”

As an MMA fighter, Lopez likes to incorporate boxing (along with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and strength training) into her workouts—and her experience fighting also informs her musical selections. “My favorite song [on the playlist below] would be Eminem’s ‘Not Afraid,’” she says. Lopez listened to the song while training for a rematch against an opponent to whom she’d previously fallen. “That song helped motivate me to say, ‘You’re going to win, and you’re going to do this,’” she says. “It took my fears away, and I ended up winning that fight.” While that song has special significance to Lopez, many of the tunes below focus on staying strong in the face of adversity. Listen to the playlist to help you power through your hardest sweat sessions:
