This Is the Best Time of Day to Work Out, Based on Where You Live

Northeast: 6:30 p.m.
Southwest: 5:30 p.m.
West Coast: 5:30 p.m.
Southeast: 6:00 a.m.
Midwest: 5:30 p.m.

In other words, if you’d rather not be packed in shoulder-to-shoulder at Barry’s Bootcamp, you’re better off switching to morning sessions if you live anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon Line. But if you thrive off of the energy of a crowded class, stick to those p.m. bookings (unless you live in, say, Atlanta.)

Of course, day of the week matters, too. The most popular day to work out across the country is Tuesday, so apparently we’re not the only ones who feel like getting to the gym feels a little too ambitious for a Monday. (Want to work out at home? Consider your workout scheduling woes a thing of the past.
