There comes a time in every half-marathon runner’s life when he or she approaches the starting line and realizes: “OMG, I have 13.1 more miles to go…†Some runners deal with this epiphany by doing a little self-pep talk—â€You were born to run,†“You can do this,†etc. Kelly Roberts, however, a 24-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, chose a different strategy: selfies with hot men in the background. While running the New York City half marathon last weekend, she decided to pass the time by snapping a selfie with an unsuspecting dude at every mile—resulting in 13 epic half-marathon snapshots!
“I noticed there was a really cute guy behind me, and I thought, ‘Oh my god, I should make a hashtag, #hotguysofthenychalf,’†she told GoodMorningAmerica.com. Here are some of our favorites:
“Some beard action for 5,†writes Kelly about this one.
