Hong Kong (HKSAR) – The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The spokesperson for Caritas Medical Centre made the announcement today (April 5) that as part of Phase 2 Redevelopment Project, the vehicular access at the junction of Po On Road and Wing Hong Street will be temporarily closed starting from 6am, April 7 (Monday) until completion to facilitate the redevelopment works of the hospital portal. During the period, all vehicles including ambulances shall take a route via Wing Ming Street for the ingress and egress of the hospital. Please refer to the attached traffic diversion route for details.
Concerned government departments, Sham Shui Po District Council, 45M Green Minibus and Taxi operators have also been notified of the road closure arrangement to ensure ambulance services will not be affected.
