VIDEO: New eyes and new life for conflict victim


A lady blinded by her beloved when he gouged her eyes is assisting to lift recognition of domestic violence, to stop others being victimised as she was.

Tina Nash was pounded by Shane Jenkin in their home in Hayle, Cornwall in Apr 2011. He was condemned to life in a secure mental health unit.

She has given had reconstructive medicine to make prosthetic eyes, boosting her certainty and assisting her “look brazen to life”.
