You’re More Likely to Get Lucky if You’re Listening to Music

Turns out, pumping up the jams led to 66 percent more sex. Hot damn.

Beyond making people feel extra frisky, the study found that music makes us super lovey-dovey, too: 24 percent of people admitted to saying “I love you” just because of a song they heard. (Okay, you win, Adele!) And, in general, participants dropped those three little words almost 50 percent more when they were listening to music.

More sexy facts:

  • 59 percent of participants said when other people play songs they love, those people become more attractive
  • The actual distance between household members decreased by 12 percent during the week of listening to music out loud

So, now that we’re all in the mood, it’s time to spruce up those sex playlists. And luckily, just in time for the most romantic/hated day of the year, Spotify released the songs found most frequently in users’ “Valentine’s Day” playlists.

Topping the charts? Gritty tunes with dirty beats from Drake, The Weeknd, and A$AP Rocky. Damn, we see how you like it…

And topping the list of love songs: Everyone’s favorite bad-boy-gone-good, Justin Bieber, along with some classic Justin Timberlake and the ever soulful sex-at-the-piano John Legend.

Go ahead and get it, girl.Â
