Eva Mendes Issues Hilarious Apology to Her Sweatpants (Because Yes, She Wears Them)

If you tossed your favorite pair of sweats after hearing that Eva Mendes believes them to be the number one cause of divorce, then you might want to start digging through your trash. After sparking a hot debate over her comments—did Ryan Gosling really disapprove of the wonderful creation that is sweatpants?!—Eva took to Instagram to make sure we all know she was joking. Because you knew she was, right?  

 

Dear favorite pair of sweatpants. I was just kidding when I said you’re the #1 cause of divorce. Everyone knows that orange crocs are the #1 cause of divorce. Either way it was a bad joke and feel terrible if you or anyone thought I was serious. Thanks for understanding sweatpants. Sorry orange crocs.
