These High-Tech Panties Teach Your Vag How to Do Kegels Correctly

This new piece of technology requires you to pair high-tech undies (which are implanted with a movement sensor…creepy much?) with an iPhone app that will show you a model of a vulva, vagina, and perineum (the muscle between your vagina and your backdoor).

Then, things get weird: The app invites you to touch the image of the perineum on your iPhone’s screen, which will respond by visually contracting. What you’ve just seen is a Kegel in action. Kegels, a pelvic floor exercise, are supposed to keep everything from your sex life to your bladder in top shape. And they’re famously hard to do correctly (though, stopping your urine flow midway is a pretty good tell).

Once you’ve seen it play out on screen, the app guides you to give it a try yourself, as you casually hold your phone between your legs, six inches from your underwear, so it can track your movements. (Seriously.) Labella isn’t yet available, but in the meantime, there’s a 99 percent chance you can learn how to do Kegels the old-school way. May stronger orgasms result.
