A Pilates-Inspired Playlist You’ll Love for Any Workout

Every week, Your New Favorite Playlist introduces you to workout-worthy tunes from a different fitness brand. This week, Flex Studios in New York City shares one of its recent playlists.

Usually, Pilates classes aren’t set to music. But at Flex Studios, which offers Pilates, barre, and TRX routines, the playlists are a key part of all three workouts. “All of our classes are high-energy and music-fueled,” says Jenn Seracuse, the studio’s director of Pilates. “I never taught with music until I started teaching here, and at first I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t know how that’s going to be’—but it’s exponentially fueled my classes. I think the energy’s a lot higher and you feel like people are along for the ride with you a lot more.”

Whether you’re doing Pilates on your own or just want some new jams for your next treadmill session, check out this up-tempo 55-minute playlist that Seracuse created for one of her recent classes:

1. Pharrell Williams, “Come Get It Bae”
2. The Knocks X Ambassadors, “Comfortable”
