Fitbit Joins With AHA to Raise Money and Awareness for Heart Disease

In the market for a new health tracker? How about one that gives back in a major way? This month, Fitbit unveiled a new red Fitbit Flex activity and sleep tracker to support the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Go Red for Women campaign. If you purchase one during the month of May, Fitbit will donate $10 from your purchase to the AHA (up to $50,000!) to help raise awareness and support in the fight against heart disease in women.

The Fitbit Flex keeps tabs on crucial stats—like your steps, distance, sleep, and calories burned. And get this: Fitbit users take 43 percent more steps with Fitbit products, according to company stats.
