For Longer Hair…

“I used to do this crazy thing in high school to grow my hair where I would hang upside down from my bed,” says Kourtney, explaining that someone told her it worked because the blood rushes to your head. “So every night I would sit for 20 minutes and talk on phone and hang upside down.” Kourtney isn’t sure how effective that technique was, but considering her lengthy mane now, we’re going to say it didn’t hurt… (Heal your whole body with Rodale’s 12-day power plan for better health.

For Better Skin and Hair…

“I think beauty comes from within,” says Kourtney, who sips a skin-friendly avocado smoothie every morning. “I notice that when I don’t have it, my skin and hair aren’t the same.” Want to recreate her drink? Blend together one avocado, pitted and peeled, one cup of organic coconut milk, and one teaspoon of Manuka honey. “I use coconut milk because I don’t do dairy,” she says, adding that everyone in her household recently became dairy-free.

For Softer Lips…

Kourtney puts her DIY skills to work crafting a honey-infused lip scrub. The easy treatment takes just three ingredients—one tablespoon Manuka Doctor Manuka Honey ($20, manukadoctor.com), one tablespoon organic coconut oil, and one organic Sugar in the Raw packet—and a little elbow grease. Mix the honey and coconut oil together, and then add in the sugar and continue mixing. If it’s too pasty, add a drop or two more of the coconut oil and let stand for 10 minutes to soften. Using your fingers, swipe the mixture onto lips and gently scrub for one to two minutes, then tissue off. You are now ready to pucker up, Kardashian-style.
