“Scales bum me out. I go by how tight my clothes fit, and then I tailor my diet and exercise routine. When I feel like my clothes are tight, I drink fresh lemon water in the morning and throughout the day. Drinking a lot of water keeps my energy up and clears my mind. For breakfast, I eat a mix of berries, an apple or banana, dates, seeds, almonds, and walnuts, sometimes with plain yogurt. For lunch, I love raw almond butter and an apple, Amy’s soups, or frozen organic foods when I am in a hurry. And since I’m a vegetarian, my dinners are usually Gardenburgers or Mexican fare, like tacos with fresh cilantro, jalapeno, brown rice, and sautéed veggies.
